Muscle Strength Development for Women

Women Muscle Strength

Alarmingly, women begin to lose muscle strength and, subsequently, bone density at the age of 35! Bone loss is a very serious threat to the health, wellbeing and independence of all women.

So what do you do about it? Popular literature says do weight-bearing exercises, up your calcium intake, walk more. We say there is more.

Take a pro-active approach that will improve your overall muscle strength. We intensively train not only the muscles that control the movements of the body, but also the smaller muscles that stabilise the body. This is far more effective than just ‘weight-bearing exercises’ that target only the muscles that control large movement.

And the flow-on benefits are immense: you actually reverse bone loss, replace fat with muscle (great for weight loss!), increase strength and energy levels, lose flab and get trim, and look great in a T-shirt.

(You won't end up looking like Arny: you don’t have the right hormones.)

What our clients say

A few months ago I fell, leaving me fearful of a more serious fall. I began to take hesitant steps, like old people do. Then I started to train at Positive Edge and now that fear has gone. I am dashing across roads, taking stairs two at a time. I have peace of mind and a new lease on life. And a smaller waistline!
